Bei Prins Thomas kann man sich bekanntlich immer auf die ersehnte Portion Disco-Funk freuen. Das ändert sich auch nicht, wenn er eine Mix Compilation wie Cosmo Galactic Prism arrangiert. Während sich CD 1 intensiv im Disco driven Funk und Folk bewegt, fliesst man Richtung CD 2 systematisch in Dub-Sphären, um nach diesem Ausflug wieder zurückzukehren. Über beide CDs findet man dabei wesentliche und prägende „Klassiker“ der elektronischen Musik, ob nun Recloose's „cardiology“, Boards of Canada oder Tres Demented. Wenn auch nicht an jeder Stelle 100%ig rund, ein Gewinn für jede CD-Sammlung. (Pete Lacazz)
